Korn Guitarist Returns With Solo Album

Korn’s former guitarist Brian ‘Head’ Welch is set to return with his first solo album on September 9.

‘Save Me From Myself’ will see Welch return to the music scene following his surprise exit from the Californian outfit in 2005.

Welch left to take care of his daughter and commit to his faith after he became a born again Christian.

The new record features Tony Levin, the session musician of David Bowie and Peter Gabriel, as well as A Perfect Circle star Josh Freese.

Welch explained his enthusiasm for his new album: “I’m really excited about getting my music out there to my fans. I literally poured everything I had into ‘Save Me From Myself’, and I know it’s gonna inspire a lot of people.”

The guitarist released an autobiography of the same name back in 2007 to much critical acclaim and is keen to get back into music once again.

He said: “It's been a long time since I've connected with people musically, and now that the wounds have healed from my past addictions, I'm ready to feel the

magic again.”

The tracklisting is set to be the following:
